Hi all,

Our next Herbs for Healing session, on Tuesday 18th July 10am - 1pm, will be about tinctures - potent alcohol extracts of medicinal plants. These are a wonderful way to preserve the medicine of herbs when they are at their peak (as so many are right now). They’re also very easy to make! In this workshop Beth Maiden will take us through a basic tincture-making process, and get into some more advanced techniques for better quality tinctures. We’ll also look at alcohol-free alternatives. We will make our own medicinal tinctures to take away.

Hot drinks, tools and the gazebo shelter will be provided, but as always, please dress for the unpredictable weather!

Bydd ein sesiwn Perlysiau i Iachau nesaf, ddydd Mawrth 18 Gorffennaf 10am - 1pm, yn ymwneud â tinctures - darnau alcohol cryf o blanhigion meddyginiaethol. Mae'r rhain yn ffordd wych o gadw meddyginiaeth perlysiau pan fyddant ar eu hanterth (fel y mae cymaint ar hyn o bryd). Maen nhw hefyd yn hawdd iawn i'w gwneud! Yn y gweithdy hwn bydd Beth Maiden yn ein tywys trwy broses gwneud trwyth sylfaenol, ac yn mynd i mewn i rai technegau mwy datblygedig ar gyfer tinctures o ansawdd gwell. Byddwn hefyd yn edrych ar ddewisiadau amgen di-alcohol. Byddwn yn gwneud ein trwythau meddyginiaethol ein hunain i'w cymryd.
