The garden is permanently open to the community and is nestled in the public Plas park grounds.
We are running our inclusive drop in gardening sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, from 10.30am to 4.00pm.
Please bring gardening gloves if you have them, a mug for drinks, and lunch or snacks. We look forward to seeing you.
We ask that visitors adhere to government guidelines and do not gather in groups of more than 2 people, and keep 2m from others in the gardens. Stay safe and well everyone, from the team at Gerddi Bro Ddyfi Gardens.
In 2009 and 2010, members of the community growing group Dyfi Valley Seed Savers, undertook trials of welsh vegetable varieties, and visited orchards throughout Powys, to assess which varieties are best suited to growing in our beautiful, but somewhat damp land. Please take a look at the results in “Growing Fruit in Powys” and the “Welsh Vegetable Project” report to learn from the experiences of local growers.
